Gynecomastia is a benign mammary gland or glands in men and is due to the increase in glandular tissue of breast tissue and associated with massive fatty deposits with obesity, which increases the amount of breast cancer.
Surgical treatment is the removal of breast tissue through a periarole incision, or removing fat through liposuction or a combination of both methods.
The operation takes about 1.5 hours under general anesthesia. The patient may remain in the hospital or may be discharged on the same day as the operation.
The rehabilitation period is 3-4 weeks when fade bruising and swelling in the area of operation. Pain syndrome in the first 2-3 days of minor and easily is receiving conventional painkillers. Patients need to wear compression underwear for 3 weeks. In some cases (up to 10%) in the area of operations may experience accumulation of fluid that requires its deletion punkcionnogo. Therefore, patients should be under the supervision of a physician for at least the first 3 weeks.
